Walking Trails

Plateau Hike – Red Arrow
Head to the Adventure park and follow the trail West along the river towards the mountains. Pass the swing bridge, Hippo Pools and to the KZNW gate. Cross the road left and follow the MTB trail around the trees. Your route will split once you see the dam / lake, either taking you straight around the dam, or splits right to the top of the plateau. Keep the lake and clubhouse in view on your left to return across the dam wall. Once you reach the waterfall on the plateau, you can turn back.
Beacon Hill – Yellow Arrow
Head to the Adventure park and follow the trail West along the river towards the mountains. Cross the large swing bridge right over the river. Follow the trail up past the abseil and zipline launch pads. The trail will take you to the top of the hill looking down on the resort. Once you have reached the beacon, this is the spot to turn back home on the same route you came up on. The route carrying on straight is not recommended as it is quite slippery, steep and treacherous.
Viewpoint Hike – Blue Arrow
Start at room 77 at the back of the hotel, along the path through the pines. Keep heading uphill for half an hour until you reach the fence line. Turn right and head straight to the cliff edges above the golf course. Turn left all the way along the cliff edges, past the waterfall. Staying on the cliff edge will bring you to a bridge going down towards the dam and the golf clubhouse. There is a path just beyond this bridge as another option. These will both take you to the dam wall to cross over and into the Glengarry clubhouse.
